Grandmaster Taejoon Lee always showed us what is the right thing to do. He always stresses seeking for the truth which is also within our mission statement. He reminded us that we are Teachers; 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 – 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩.

This exam had the biggest impact on a young 13 years old student’s life. He did not retreat in the face of the enemy, one of our code of ethics of our 𝐇𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐎 𝐊𝐚𝐞. The young candidate overcame his fears and doubts and finished his exam successfully.

The study of human morality is more important to the Hwa Rang Do® practitioner than learning how to kick and punch. When you make a weapon out of a human through the learning of combat skills, you must have the responsibility to use this knowledge properly. Without this understanding of human morality, the martial art practitioner will cause great harm to themselves and the rest of society.
𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐰𝐚 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐨®, the 𝐇𝐰𝐚 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐨® 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐞 is so important and essential for our growth.
